We are a ladies' step clog team based in Retford but with members currently living in Yorkshire Humberside Nottinghamshire, Cornwall and Kent. We wear purple skirts black t-shirts and black wooden soled clogs. We have two male musicians who play piano accordion and fiddle. Our dances come from Durham Scotland Ireland Canada Lancashire and the Northeast of England. Some we have choreographed ourselves.
Our first performance many moons ago was for a Duke of Edinburgh award ceremony where we wore our "dandy" (or "best") clogs - hence the name.
