    Powderkegs Morris

Powderkegs dance a style of Morris dancing called Border Morris it is lively and noisy with bells yells and clashing sticks! It comes from English counties which border Wales and it's hundreds of years old.
We are based in Whaley Bridge in the Peak District. Our name comes from ancient gunpowder mills nearby. Our rags are fire colours and our dances are explosive!

We started in 2001 and our side is now over 30 strong including dancers and musicians. We perform at events throughout Derbyshire and further afield. If you would like to talk to us about performing at your event please get in touch!
